Question: I have a MFJ-969 antenna tuner. It has a maximum rating of 300 Watts. If I switch to use the bypass circuit does the 300 Watt maximum still apply? Or can I run more through it? I don't want to take any chances of it arcing... |

into a good load i would think you could run more a bad load i wouldn't chance it. |

By GOOD and BAD load do you mean keeping the SWR below 2:1? It would be. About 1 1/2:1 |

I'll let you know if I try it.... I did a quick check today, and it was 1.3:1 at 300 Watts and by-passing the tuner. |
