Due to the storms that raged threw here in Western Ky. last week I lost my PDL II antenna. My other antenna an Antron 99 is about ready to break in half. My poor Antron has been faithful for many years. I have seriously been looking at replaceing my Antron with a I-Max 2000. I also will most likely put up a set of Maco M103C Beams. I had a set of these in the past and they survived many have survived things that most of you would find unbelievable. My question is this. Is the I-Max antenna all that it is made out to be? And will the M103C work well at only 25-30 feet considering that my tower has about that much left that is useable?

Hi Mech,
The I-Maxx 2000 is a better antenna then the 99. But the PDL-II's are probably better than the Maco 103C's due to the vertical directional advatage. I have both the I-Maxx 2000 with a GPK and a set of Maco 103C's on the flat side. They make a really good team, transmit and recieve on both is excellent, and they are rather easy to maintain. Both are about 25 feet up in the air. Hope this helps, sorry for your loss. |

Thanks Topten! Ihope to be up and running again by the end of next month. After reading the review on the I-Max 2000 I made up my mind. It will be my replacement antenna. And will also put up the Maco M103C's also. Thanks
