Rowddy, Sorry, I do not have any info on the 3700. I have never actually seen one of these, is it the AM/FM Model only? Maybe someone out there who has one, or had one in the past will be able help you. Wish I could of been more help, maybe one of the other Techs can jump in and help. Lon Tech808 |

what causes a radio to swing backward TECH 833 reply: 'Forward swing' is when your radio is producing higher positive peaks than negative peaks. 'Backwards swing' is when your positive peaks are lower than your negative peaks, or when your carrier is being pinched, as in over 100% negative peak modulation. 'Backwards swing' also occurs when a radio or amplifier is being driven harder than it is capable of safely for AM operation.
