Check out the Workman UVS-300 dual bander. Similar gain and size as the MFJ you mentioned, but only 89 bucks. I've had mine up for a few weeks now and I love it! Great SWR across both bands, far exceeds my expectations for performance. Went together and up real easy, I used Davis RF Bury-Flex cable. Couldn't be happier, especially for the $$. |

Using a Diamond X-50 dual band, and I am happy with the performance. Like Highlander, I use the Davis RF Buryflex. It is good cable and worth the money. |

bullet im using BOTH a ringo-ranger and the 18 foot tall 9/11dbi gain coliner 146/440. From my house 12 miles north of st petersburg I cover TAMPABAY with 60 watts using the big coliner. The ringo does well but not as good .... mine was bought from ebay. |

I'm also using the Diamond CP22E, best bang for your buck on 2 meter. I can hit repeaters 150 miles from my QTH, here in South Central Oklahoma. Yankee |

I know a guy who has four Cushcraft 13b2 in an array on a 90 foot freestanding tower for 2m SSB--he can talk several states away on a regular basis. I want to try to build a log periodic for 2m and 70cm SSB. |
