My Pace 123A receives well and transmits a carrier signal with no modulation (audio). The locals say that they receive a carrier signal with no audio. The swr meter swings ok, power signal ok, but mod meter shows no meter movement on tx mod position. Tx light lights up, s-meter on radio swings...Mic connections look ok. If I had the color code for mic connection that would help. I have the mic wiring but no color code! Help!!!!Thanks for any help.......Happy Holidays!!! Toolman29 |

Pin #2 ~ BLACK & SHIELD
Pin #3 ~ OPEN / N/C
Pin #4 ~ WHITE

Best of the Holidays to you all!
The mic wiring for the Pace 123A as I found it is:
Pin # 1 White
Pin # 2 Blk/shield
Pin # 3 n/c
Pin # 4 Red
Pin # 5&6 n/c
I wired it up as you listed and got no carrier or audio. Wired it back up as was and just get carrier and no audio as before. Appreciate your input. We'll keep on looking for solution. Thanks ....Mike |
