My astron shows 13.7 when I have the voltage all the way up, must be a way to adjust it inside, I would be interested to know how also. |

yes, there is a pot (variable resistor) inside to control the voltage. i don't know the # off hand, but there is one in there. astron power supplies rule..even motorola copied their design in some older base power supplies(or astron copied motorola). either way, this design has been around for a long time. |

I do not understand how to match a power supply unit to a radio. I have a Pyramid Gold Series PS-7K. I use this for my Cobra 148 radio + preamp + a echo beep chamber. Can my power supply handle all of this? Does it mean the more amps a power supply puts in my radio, the more powerful it is? I plan to buy a base cb radio in the future and I will want to buy the best power supply for it. Are their any limmits to how any amps you could use for a radio? Thank you! 73 |

Drcat, Go to the: Subscriber (Preview) Area then Click on: » Articles then Click on: » WHICH POWER SUPPLY DO YOU NEED? It will help you to determine which size Power Supply you will need for your equipment. Hope this helps, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9OSN |
