I am a CB fanatic and recently jumped back in the arena with a Magnum 257. I have it matched with a Texas Star 400. Needless to say its a BIG sounding radio. I have been encouraged to purchase a Galaxy 88 or 99 because, according to sources, it will sound incredibly better than my Magnum with the Texas Star. I am leaning towards the Galaxy 99 because of the nicer meter. I am also partial to units with USB and LSB. Any veterans out there that can give me the scoop? I just want a rockin big radio. |

If your going to upgrade radios get the magnum deltaforce...........A KILLER RADIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Sorry just jumped back into the ARENA again my self ...B U T .....I have a 99v a 2950dx..And the 99v sounds better on AM....Buts drifts like hell on SSB..Local radio shop has many 99v with same problem...I would not touch a 99v for SSB..
Ya might check with a 9000....But i really like my 2950DX....Bill |
