For some reason I don't have much luck reaching the states that connect to my state .The states that are five states away I have no problem getting to.I've always had a problem talking to Georgia and North Carolina.Talking to Texas ,Oklahoma,Mississipi,Arkansaw,Illinois,New York,Barbados on occasion is easy.

you need to have more gain at a higher angle to get those close in states early in the morning.
