I shipped my General Grant to the factory authorized service rep this week in Pa.They received the radio at 8:30 AM this morning and called me at 11:30 AM this morning to inform me the radio was repaired and ready to be shipped . This radio had been turbo tuned by a golden screwdriver in Texas and ran so hot I had to run a computer fan on it to keep it from melting down. I asked the tech what the problem was and he said they had changed the value of several components by removing them and soldering new one's in their place. After he installed the proper components he then realigned everything and tuned it to my request. All this and only charged me $42.00. |
