I see people saying the channel conversion is the same as the RCI6300, but I can't find either mod.

Also, what would the frequency coverage be since the radio has 12 bands?

I also would like to get the NPC/RC mod and tune up information if it is available.

Anywhere I can get schematics also? (RCI-2980wx, not the older 2980)

Wish I could help you however , never even looked at a "WX" version....I believe it is the "pigtail" mod for 11 meters...I don't believe in the "NPC" mods so I can not help you there either...Sorry..Anyone else?

What is a pigtail mod? Also, maybe you should make a video for this one, great way to learn! :)

Someone told me the 11 Meter conversion was the same as the RCI-6300, do you know what that conversion is?

Already looked there, they only got the RCI2950 there. I guess I wasted $420.00, guess it can't be modded or converted, or peaked and tuned. Hmmm, guess thats why Copper and everyone else who sells it, doesn't offer the tune up and modify for 11 Meter option for $30... like all the Galaxy Radios.:(
