Well it is not shocking to me that COVID would be an excuse for lower production and higher prices of everything including our hobby. This is like back in the 70's when they said we are running out of oil to get prices up to where they wanted them to be. THAT WAS A BIG LIE!!!! When they got the price they wanted all of a sudden 50 years later there is no shortage!!!! LIARS!!!! Now it is COVID and EVERY COMPANY WORLDWIDE is CUTTING BACK and RAISING prices saying there is shortages and they can not get the product's. Since COVID an example I will use is the price of plywood. It went from $14.95 to almost $50.00 dollars. It is not costing more to produce it just hard to get they say because every company has cut back production.. Well of course it is hard to get because everyone had cut back on production to get the prices up to get richer. I even heard that they can not get semiconductors because they are running out of the material to make it. Well they discovered a place last month in the earth to get the material it takes to make the semiconductors but the state wont give them permits to get it. So, now everything that has a circuit board that uses computer chips is scarce . From auto's to electronics tv , cell phones computer's to alarm systems and cameras and so on. I am an old man and I have seen a lot of tricks to get prices up by the greedy rich. Well, it is all bible. THE RICH WILL GET RICHER AND THE POOR WILL GET POORER. So don't be shocked my friends when you order your radio's and other related hobby needs that you will be told we have to put it on back order or tell you order now because we are raising our prices on the next stock we get. Watch and see COVID will stay here like the flu and when they get the prices sky high there will be no shortages no problems. Forgive me for going on but I hate that all of us are getting ripped off. I have news for ALL COMPANIES----WHEN IT GETS TO HIGH I WONT BUY. I will just do without and doing without never cost more. LOL P.S. Forgive me for any spelling errors I wrote this in haste. |
