Hello, Does the rci 2950dx have the cb channels like the older rci 2950 version? I mean like channel 1 - 40 in the display instead of 27.xxx CEF#1021

No, I don't believe that it does. Get a printout of the 11 meter frequencies. After awhile you will know them by heart. |

Yes, it does. You press the 'MAN' button and you get channel numbers instead of frequency readout. |

I read some where online that the radio comes with a jumper that i can add it the inside of the radio to add more frequencies to the radio. Does copper does this to the radio with the align & fine tune? Also when i buy the radio does it have the 11 meter cb channel straight out of the box? Or do i have to do the jumper thing to get the cb frequencies? CEF#1021

Answer #1 ~ Yes Question #2 ~ Also when i buy the radio does it have the 11 meter cb channel straight out of the box? Answer #2 ~ No Question #3 ~ Or do i have to do the jumper thing to get the cb frequencies? Answer #3 ~ Yes you will need the Expansion module / chip to get the CB / 11 meter band. Personally I would recommend getting the OPTION (Expand, Align & Tune) at the time of purchase that way everything is covered under your warranty. Oh so the expand really means that copper will do the expansion for the 11m CB. I won't be able to afford the 2970N2 but if i had the money i would hold out to get the basestation 2995 I'm go to get the 2950 because i had it in the 90's but never really got to use it like i can now. Thanks Everyone! CEF#1021

On a 2950 that has the mod for CB (11 meter), where would I find the selector to switch back and forth to 10 meter? |
