Hi, I had just got a new RCI 2950DX blackface model and when doing the E-chip conversion I noticed a small board about the size of a dime or nickel that was very loose it was just glued to a rubber piece. I believe it goes to the mic connection. Anyway it is not stuck on there very well at all and it came loose easily. You don't want this floating around in the radio and shorting out something. I put tape around it and attached it to some wires with a small zip strip out of the way so it wont ever come in contact with anything. Just a warning here to let people know about a potential problem that could arise. |

I would just do as I did because sooner or later it will fall off anyway and then probably cause pronlems. |
