Could someone suggestion to hook up a 959 or a vr 9000 in a small kia and maybe a small linear I'm not even sure it electronics system will even make it possible. I usually run it from the battery along the top and around the windshield into the car but the way this one is set up I think it would be impossible. I just wanted to get someone's else opinion that is smarter than mine. Its definitely a head scratcher. |

the 959 will probaly draw less than 7 amps. so if ya had to as a lst option ya could just plug it into the cigerette lighter.another option is if theres a fuse panel in the car ya can run the hot over there to an empty one that hot all the time. the amp id definately wire into battery. good luck on install dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64 454 [dx numbers] 38lsb

I appreciate you helping me out I usually run a hot and ground to the battery along the hood crease then through the door but this one has me stumped.i dont think I could run a box because I'm afraid of messing up any computer system. And besides it's just a small engine. I'm using a plug in cord to the cigarette litter I'm getting around 30 watts on my vr 9000 and 18 watts on my 959 so I guess it will have to do.i usually run a 667 but I'm afraid to put anything like that in the car.thank you for your help |

Put a KL-203 in the Kia. Turn radio Power Down to 1 1/2-2 watts (NO MORE). You will be happy with it. Izzy CEF#502
