just wondering what can u get out of a peaked 148 typically? dead key + swing or better yet what kind of swing? |

thanks for your input. i'm getting about 13 watts peak out of mine. basic tune up useing a diamond sx 200 watt meter. not as much swing as my cobra 29. thanks again |

13 watts on ssb or am?are you using a dummyload? 13 watts on ssb is about right make sure your mic gain is up all the way as ssb is all modulation dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64 454 [dx numbers] 38lsb

ok imho all sounds about right. i cheched my grant xl and washington its doing the same. if ya want more power id get a RM amp from here there not much money and sound great with a lower power radio dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64 454 [dx numbers] 38lsb
