a guy told me about a meter he said they used it in cb tag game or whatever people call it anyway it had a meter like guage on it to register signal levels and earphones to find direction they just pointed it around when someone keyed their mike and took off toward them i need something like this . thanks press |

Well, sounds like that "meter like guage" was something homemade. Just use the meter on the radio, I know plenty of people that use the meter on the radio to track people down ( don't know why people find it fun) and it works fine. Watch the meter on the radio, when the signal gets higher you'll know your close. When the signal gets lower, your going the wrong direction. Look for antennas too! haha ...just common sense. Don't need anything high tech. |

Press : Sounds like you're talking about a field strength meter which you can purchase for $19.95 at any radio electronics store.I posted this a couple days ago but it never came up so here it is again. |

Go into search on the net for Radio direction finding .You will be amazed at how big this is.Operators all over the world are involved in these games. |

Hey Guys I used to do this on my first radio Its called fox hunts LOL youre gonna like this A bunch of rednecks get together at night everyone throws in 5 bucks and The they are trying to find hauls butt to where ever he wants to hide and every 5 minutes or so he Keys up and talks so everyone can hear and whoever finds the FOX gets the Money if hes not found he keeps the money Of course there are time limits to find him and boundrys he has to stay with in and once hes in his spot he has to stay NO Moving Its actually kinda fun No offense meant with the Redneck comment
