i was wanting 2 know if the mod limiter is tr53 thats what i thought it was anyway or ive heard people saying its r249 i think when doing npc mod. im confused is there more than 1 part to the limiter ciritsif there is more than one and wanted two remove the limiter witch one would remove would it even matter. please help |

Leave TR-53 in circuit.
Remove R-238 and install a 1n4001 to 1n4004 diode in its place with banded end to the right towards regulator. Cut R-249. Set dead key to 1.5 to 2 watts.

thanks tech 808 ill have 2 check that out i got a 99v i think the limiter is out but not sure of its location

R-249 is what most people call the audio limiter. And R-238 is what most people add the diode to or remove and install just the diode to for increased modulation. What is so confussing about that? Maybe I am calling them the wrong thing, but any way you look at it, this is what you cut/remove or add the diode to.... |
