I am in need of some mods for a NS-9500 ... it seems to squeal pretty bad when i turn my maverick 250 on ... i believe there is tooo much modulation ... also need to set the DK on high and low .... adjust the meter ... etc..... i need the mod points and the limiters .... i am going to try to tone it down a little ... thanks steve |

Nevets111, Look to the LEFT of the Forum here under Tools and CLICK on: Modification List When you get to the Modification List under Choose a Make scroll down until you see the 2nd listing for: Northstar/Cherokee then under Choose a Model pick 9500 Hope this help's, Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9CEF CVC#2 |

thank you ... is there a mod limiter somewhere ... i turned the mod pot(vr14) and it doesn't do any good, apparently someone clipped something .... any other mods for this ... anl/nb,npc,etc ..... thanks again steve |

im not familiar with the inside of that radio but if your sure vr14 is modulation pot and doesnt do anything then your limiter is either clipped or the amc is disabled.eitherway both are undesirable sorry i couldnt really help ill have to go thru some of my books see if i can find that one |

jc penny 938-6241. I can't find d 406. where is it physically located. also how do I turn the ssb up? there is nothing on that. tony |
