got a galaxy 99 v that makes a humming sound all the time on my receive.but when I put my noise blanker on nb+ it goes away when it shuts the freq counter off.this is the only way the sound will go away.what you think is the problem? |

That frequency counter hum is pretty common in some of the Galaxy radios. I've had several that had it including an 88 that I own now. Don't notice it much in a mobile but as a base you sure can hear it.
There's a fix for it, pretty sure it's been discussed way back there on this forum. Might find it with a search. |
