I tried to send a radio in for repair made by radio shack. I was told that I had to pay $20. When did they start this?? Used to be if was manu by RS then they wud send it for free. tony/nb5jva cef# 259 |

hello Teham, I purchased a trc-447 cb from them about 4 years ago when I got it they wanted to know if I wanted a extended warrenty. I think that covered repair costs it was $25 for the warrenty Flying High and Flying Proud!!!!!!!! CEF# 1028

this how radio shack insurance work you can get the 1 year or the 2 years replacement plan if your radio had any ploblem they give you a new radio, now if you did't purchase the insurance they charge 20.00 dollar for shipping + the cost to fixed |
