Hi, I was wondering what mobile mic you guys would reccomend for the RCI-2970? I will be using it mostly on sideband talking skip. In the old days I would have bought a D104 sight unseen, however, I have been out of the hobby for about 20 years. I'm also wondering if my Old Turner Super Sidekick can be wired for this rig for the base side. If so - I can I mail the mic to opper to have it wired? I suck at sodering.... Mike |

i personally have used a tunersuperdide kick with that exact radio with excellt results on ssb.in mobile i used a rk-56 noicecancelling mic it sounded slightly better than the astatic 636l on ssb.the rk56 wasnt as tinty as the 636.this is what ive found thru the year using ssb 99%of the time dale/a.k.a.hotrod cef426 cvc#64

I'm in a similar position guys. Would like a desk mic for my 2970DX. I have the worst voice on the planet...a lot of you have heard it on voice chat. So what would you lot suggest to compliment the big girl and my horrid tones? CEFFFCEF Bob CEF703/CVC26 269 Hunter Valley NOT allowed to hold a passport....
